If you would like to know more about Glusburn Primary and Nursery school we are always happy to show you round.   Our nursery is full for 2023/24.  If you are interested in a place for September 2024 please contact the school office.  We will be allocating nursery places in March 2024.

Nursery admissions
Glusburn Primary School has a 26 place Nursery with children attending part-time (Mon to Weds lunchtime or Weds lunchtime to Friday).  Where space allows we have started to offer 30 hours of childcare.  This is allocated termly if there is space.

Parents can apply for a Nursery place any time after their child's second birthday. Prospective parents will need to contact the school office for the appropriate Nursery application form which needs to be completed and returned together with the child's birth certificate, proof of address and photo identification of both parents, if possible.

Children can be admitted to the Nursery in the September after their third birthday if there are places. Following allocation of part-time nursery places, 30 hour places will be allocated if there are places. Parents/carers should note that admission to the school's Nursery does not in any way guarantee a place in the primary school.

At Glusburn Nursery, we adhere to North Yorkshire’s primary school admissions policy when allocating places.
